This shoot idea came to me around Christmas time last year and plans have been underway ever since.
I had said to my hubby that I really, really wanted to do a vintage airplane shoot.
I was like a kid in a candy store when he told me his brother had just bought a vintage plane, and I knew we had to do this.
So glad it all came together so perfectly this past Friday evening and we were able to have the shoot right
on their land in the north woods like we had hoped and planned for.
For awhile on Friday, it was touch and go whether we’d even be able to do the shoot with the weather.
We had been trying to make it happen all summer and I thought we were going to have to reschedule…AGAIN.
In fact, they had to wait until late afternoon to even fly the plane out of Fargo, but once they got confirmation
that he had his 1000 feet of visibility needed to fly, he called in their flight plan and off they flew….and off we drove to meet them.
Can’t wait to make them an awesome coffee table album from this shoot!
And Missy and Chris, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this photography dream a reality!
One more thing checked off of my photography bucket list….
